A specialist overhead line construction and maintenance provider supporting the UK & Ireland's green energy transition.
Who We Are
A specialist overhead line construction and maintenance provider supporting the UK & Ireland's green energy transition.
LineTech Services was founded in 2022 by Lee Jeffrey and Iain G Thomson — two engineers with decades of experience within the UK & Ireland's distribution and transmission network operators. LineTech was formed to be recognised as a trusted delivery partner focused on quality, safety and production.
We operate from our Forfar headquarters, delivering specialist OHL works for principal contractors and network operators across Scotland & Ireland. We have extensive experience of energy projects through our leadership team and diverse team of professional engineers.

On the Line
Our philosophy is a directly-employed model — we train within and locally, producing highly skilled operatives supplied with owned MEWPs, excavators and specialised plant. We don't wait for hire companies or sub-contractors.
Our in-house linesmen are DNO trained for all construction types — LV to 132kV wood pole and 132kV to 275kV steel towers.
Every crew carries a LineTech Field App for digital daily reporting — risk assessments, SMART starts, data returns and GPS-tagged evidence photos, synced in real time to our management portal.
